Assistant Restaurant Manager

Working Location: Suntec City

Job Description:

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations including dining service, kitchen coordination, and overall guest experience.
• Supervise and train service staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to restaurant standards.
• Monitor food presentation, quality, and consistency according to Chinese cuisine standards.
• Ensure proper implementation of hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Assist in staff scheduling, manpower planning, and shift management.
• Support in inventory control, stock ordering, and cost management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs.
• Assist in planning promotions, special events, and seasonal Chinese festival menus.
• Stand in for the Restaurant Manager when required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a Chinese restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and dining etiquette.
• Good leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
