I had never even heard of Barani until (3 April 2025) when my friend, who was with me, suggested we take a lookāand Iām so glad we did! š
I fell in love with the first pair I tried onāit was beautiful and SOOOOOO COMFORTABLE š. The comfort alone made me not want to leave the store without getting a pair! Unfortunately, it was a size too big. The staff tried to make it work with extra insoles and adjustments, but when she saw I was still uncomfortable, she actually advised me against buying itāand that really stood out to me.
Though she came across a little āheck careā at first š , she was actually very knowledgeable and knew what she was doing. No pushy sales tactics, just honest advice.
In the end, I found a new arrival pair that I absolutely loved and walked out with happy feet. š„°
I even went home scrolling through their collection online and promised myself to get another pair of sandals from them one day š”š.
If it werenāt for the bad service at Sunday Staples, I wouldnāt have discovered this gem of a store. Everything happens for a reason! š£āØ

I visited Barani recently for casual and formal shoe shopping. They have a very good variety. There were a couple of attendants and no other customers in the shop. I had to try a good number of sizes and pairs and I cannot say they were very happy to serve. But hey, given their collection I didnāt want to leave without buying. I bought two comfy pairs despite their attitude. Their bag designs were good. Just some willingness from the staff would be a perfect icing on the cake!

Worst shoe brand in Singapore. I bought a pair of heels in June 2024. The heels fell off after 2 hours of wear (around 15 minutes of walking). I went back, asking for a refund, because I don't want the same lousy shoes. They said I can't get a refund but they can let me pick another pair of sandals that is the same price. I took it home, wore it about 2 weeks, and the leather straps broke. I took it back to the shop, and they fixed it for me with quite ugly stitches, but it was okay because it wasn't that visible. I have been wearing it about once a week from July to Dec, and today the leather broke again, and I found that the leather seems to be held to the base of a shoe with what seems like double sided tape. Only buy from here if you want lousy quality shoes!!!

Passed by Baraniās retail store in Suntec and was reminded of this old favourite. While Iāve outgrown their shoes, I was pleasantly surprised to see they now carry a small but functional range of leather bags. Purchased two and left satisfied with the reasonable pricing and the attentive service by the two lovely Burmese sales assistants. Will visit again.

Visited the suntec city outlet and the staff was very friendly, the shoes were of good quality and decently priced, bought quite a few pairs for my family, would shop here again!
