Bornga Singapore at Suntec City brings the celebrated Korean BBQ expertise of renowned celebrity chef Jong Won Paik to Singapore's dining scene. This authentic Korean restaurant has established itself as a premium destination for traditional Korean cuisine, with locations spanning major cities worldwide to promote the deep and diverse tastes of authentic Korean dishes. The Suntec City outlet offers diners an elevated Korean BBQ experience with reasonable pricing, making high-quality Korean cuisine accessible to a broader audience while maintaining the authenticity that has made Bornga a household name across Asia.
The restaurant's signature dish, "Woo Sam Gyup," showcases Chef Paik's culinary innovation through thinly sliced beef brisket dressed in a proprietary marinade that preserves the meat's natural color while enhancing traditional bulgogi flavors. Unlike conventional Korean BBQ that relies on lengthy marination in dark sauces, Bornga's approach maintains the beef's beautiful marbling and fresh appearance through their unique light marinade technique. The menu extends beyond BBQ to include a comprehensive selection of traditional Korean specialties, each prepared with hand-picked ingredients and authentic cooking methods that reflect Korea's rich culinary heritage.
What sets Bornga apart is their innovative grilling service, where staff can prepare the meat at a separate table, allowing diners to enjoy authentic Korean BBQ without the lingering aromas on clothing and hair. This thoughtful approach to service, combined with their commitment to using only the freshest vegetables comparable to those found in Korea, creates a dining experience that balances tradition with modern convenience. Open daily at Suntec City, Bornga accepts major credit cards and continues to build its reputation as Singapore's go-to destination for authentic, celebrity chef-endorsed Korean cuisine.

The sauce is good. They gave a good amount of vegetables. Meat is quite expensive. I would prefer the meat to be left on the grill or on a hotplate. Did not enjoy eating the meat when it turns cold. I do not like the texture of the seafood pancake. They should improve their service on cooking.

A well-regarded Korean celebrity chef franchise bbq restaurant offers a sophisticated yet casual dining experience.
While the restaurant's elegant ambience and attentive service create a welcoming atmosphere, the spatial constraints of the long table can make it challenging for diners at the ends to access food located far away.
The party package for 5-6pax we selected provided a diverse selection of meats, seafood, and side dishes. The presentation of each dish was visually appealing, adding to the overall dining experience. The staff were attentive yo our spatial constraints and offered to grill the meat and serve it to us instead from the grill behind us. This service elevates this KBBQ experience.
The quality of the food was pretty high. I particularly enjoyed the smoky charcoal flavour of the gochujang pork, which was both tender and flavorful.
The side dishes complemented the main courses perfectly with the variety of dipping sauces and vegetables. The army stew, while not as standout as the other dishes, was still a satisfying addition to the meal.
This place is still a decent choice for those seeking a refined service Korean KBBQ experience. While the spatial constraints of the long table may present some challenges, the restaurant's high-quality food, attentive service, and atmosphere.

Awesome authentic BBQ and banchan. The meat was roasted over real charcoal. Best when it was done by the staff.
Lovely ambience, although a bit warm and noisy, which was expected.
Anna was superb! Friendly and approachable. The smile was welcoming. Mic was prompt, attentive and helpful. Awesome team.
Joined the membership to enjoy the place to the fullest. My to go place for KBBQ👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We had the bbq on a weekend for lunch and the place wasn't crowded.
An array of vegetables, 7 side dishes were served, a big jug of barley tea, and 2 sauces with given. Both the doenjang and special sauce went very well with the meat, carrot sticks, and wraps. Our favourite side dish was the pickled radish. It was so tasty and went well with the wraps.
For bbq, we had to order at least 2 meats, which was reasonable. The meat portion was actually sufficient for us since there are plenty of side dishes and vegetables to go with.
Service was very good. Staff was attentive and came a few times to check on our bbq and changed the grill a few times for us. The meat slices were so thin and it got cooked almost immediately. It's best to get the staff to cook the meat so that it isn't overcooked.
We also had the beef brisket soup which was uncommon and very good.
Overall, I think it's a good bbq experience here and the price is alright for the tasty meat, generous portion of side dishes, vegetables, tea.

Atmosphere is okay but the staff is very friendly and responsive and the food was super fresh and yum. Every dish was yum
(Sadly enough the salad platter was a bit redondant, as there was only salad but no other advertised raw veggies). My favourite if all was the cold seaweed soup served as a banchan, it is balancing the spices and helps with digestion.

Loved the marinated meat selection. Super packed at lunch time causing slow service which was disappointing. We also tried ordering some of the lunch sets but all were sold out when we finally ordered around 12:30pm. Loved the fresh veggie collection. Will give it another try but …
