Cute little place designed like a HDB void deck. I'm happy that there is added protein in their rendition of local food. Mee rebus tasted old school, yellow noodles are cooked al dente. Hopefully they have steamed/grilled options for people who doesnt fancy deep fried battered meats. 👍 Decent meal at an affordable price.

I tried the signature wok-fried prawn noodles and mee rebus here. Personally, I enjoyed the mee rebus more — the gravy was thick, rich and full of flavours, got nostalgic taste.
The prawn noodles were decent and I was hoping for a bit more prawny taste.
Overall, the mee rebus definitely stood out for me and would be the one I’d come back for.

Ordered the macaroni soup with fishcake, luncheon meat, chicken cutlet, and cai xin. Overall, the food was quite ordinary and somewhat bland. The staff seemed a bit distant, which made the place feel less welcoming.

Never try never know.
Quaint feel of yesteryear… HDB void deck feel.
Kopi-c decent accompanied by the luncheon meat egg bun. Mee rebus surprisingly good.

Good place to have quick meal. Tried their Wanton Noodle. Food was okay, noodle was fine, charsiu taste was okay too. Portion is normal.
Their set meal price with hot drink is reasonable. Atmosphere is fine, service is standard. Self ordered and self collection, self service condiments etc.
Second visit we tried their Chicken Curry with Rice. The curry taste was nice but it’s not hot when it’s served, just lukewarm only. Portion wise for $7.80, they give 3 big chunks of potatoes, 3 cuts of taupok and 3 pieces of midwings only.
The chicken midwings were not tender enough, still a bit hard. And the potatoes were also still hard, it haven’t been boiled long enough to make it softer.

A nice place to bring back old HDB memories. Tried the curry chicken with rice. Chicken has been stirred fried before putting into curry. Potatoes is just nice and cooked to prefect softness. Overall is good to 90% for looks and taste. Could try the following to catch and lures the customers back again.
1. Put up posters to educate the many ways to taste the curry.
1.1 .coconut milk on top the curry serving
1.2 black soy sauce to go with the chicken and potatoes
1.3 Hot bread with butter slice in-between to drip with curry
1.4 fresh grains coconut mixed with curry leaves to sprinkle on top the rice.
Instead of Lime Juice.. try soda water with pure lime squeeze and slice inside the drink. This is more refreshing than Lime Juice.
Hope the guys and girls keep this business going. All the best.

Second time eating here but was surprised to see a green worm in my macaroni soup after eating half of it … so i took it out and put in another small bowl. Couldn’t finish my food after seeing it 🤨…… Just hoping that I don’t get a stomachache after this.

Small menu with Taiwanese / local food, tbh the curry chicken and chicken cutlet was quite underwhelming. Curry chicken lacked the coconut milk flavour and was thin, and didn’t really have the “lemak” taste. Chicken cutlet was quite small and didn’t have much meat - costed $5+. Braised pork rice was pretty nice. All portions were on the smaller side

Food is affordable their noodle are pretty harden. The noodle when pulled up sticks in a huge chunk. The middle portion of noodle is cold, is just like they left the noodle on the table till someone order and put the sauce on it.
The ala carte fried chicken chop is very dry.
I like their horfun noodle with chicken. The wanton charsiew is abit hard though. I like their harcheong gai chicken wing

Their ordering system is bad. U cannot order extra bowl of rice afterwards. The lady at counter was rude just say cannot. Like how would I know your one bowl rice portion is so small? You can only order extra rice if you purchase your main as add-ons of extra rice. System is flawed.
Food was actually pretty good. Highly recommend the claypot mee tai mak and curry chicken. Marconi soup is decent.
Just upset on the service of staff and ordering system. Hope they fix their system.
