Not as nice as it used to be or the siglap branch. Noodle sauce was diluted and slightly bland. Other pieces also didn't have much individual flavour.

Love the meat sauce yong tau foo. The tea from the set though is really bad, like drinking coloured water. Would recommend just getting the yong tau foo and bringing a bottle of water to drink.

One of my favourite Ampang style Yong Tau Foo. Been eating since my working days in Telok Ayer. I haven't been to Suntec for so long I didn't know they moved out of the Food Republic! I went there and saw another Yong Tau Foo stall at the exact spot thank God I didn't try that. Luckily I googled and realized they opened a shop within Suntec. Looks better they have their own space now, was hoping it would not be so expensive. Though I thought it would be expensive, I was glad mine was less than $10. They have all the usual stuff but I can't find my favourite sotong youtiao. They also started selling some other stuff like the dishes from kuey chap. Still taste pretty much the same and am glad to have a place for comfort food despite all the big restaurants around.

Another branch from the Famous Fu Lin brand at Suntec City (5mins walk from Promenade MRT). The main branch is located along East Coast Road. I think they have around 6 - 7 outlets island wide so don't worry about accessibility and convenience! What is unique about Fu in's Yong Tau foo is that they do not blanch your ingredients in soup, or boiling water as part of the preparation process. Instead, they deep fry every ingredient before drizzling it with a delicious soy-based gravy which is wonderfully savoury with bits of minced meat and mushrooms. The sauce is also not too thick and very flavourful! It's really a pleasant taste and a refreshing change from the traditional Yong Tau Foo but of course this is abit more sinful. Nonetheless, chili and sweet sauce are still available at the counter to pair with the side dishes. Pricing is reasonable too. Mine was around $8.20 with 7 dishes with noodles and soup. They have a good range of variety as well for the ingredients. Overall not too oily or salty as well. If you get a chance to visit the other outlets, they do have the famous otah as well as a bar experience (Telok Ayer Street), so if you are keen to pair a glass of Gin with Yong Tau Foo, that's the place you should definitely visit!

First time trying fried Yong Tau Foo. I must say I was a bit wary at first but wow. I am impressed with the meat sauce. It was fragrant and filled with lots of minced meat and shitake mushrooms. It reminds me of the lu rou fan sauce I had in Taiwan. Love it. I also enjoyed the You tiao with fish paste. Goes well with the sauce. Ordered about 9 items and 1 separate dish! It was a lot for 2 person!
