The jjajangmyeon could be better, but the mayo spicy chicken was a winner ā really crunchy and delicious. It blended perfectly with the spicy sauce, giving a great balance of flavour and heat.
Would come back just for the chicken!

The jajangmyeon and spicy tteokbokki combo was a flavor bomb, but not in the way I'd hoped. The jajangmyeon was overwhelmingly rich, and the tteokbokki's spice was so intense it overpowered all other flavors. It was a bit too much for my taste.

Paik is a known chef in Korea.. happy to try the dishes here.. the spicy fried chicken was not spicy for us. Rose teobokki was yummy š

Jjajangmyeon did not live up to the hype. The noodles tasted just like our local yellow noodles and were kind of overcooked. The sauce was also not very flavourful, it tasted diluted. The chunks of meat in the sauce were also pretty tough, I expected minced pork instead of purely lean strips of them. The place wasn't too crowded during lunch on a weekday. Overall, an unsatisfying meal that was too overpriced for the poor quality, will definitely not be back.

Tried the jajang myeon set for 1, comes with 3 fried dumplings, refillable barley tea and a plate of pickled radish. This is their add $1 promo which lasts till 13 April 2025. Maybe they will continue. Jajang myeon came with a charred taste which was pretty good. Think this is the way Koreans like it. I canāt tell if they have burnt it. Nothing really stood out tho. Itās a very ordinary bowl of black bean sauce noodles but good comfort food. The refillable tea is but I have to ask the staff to refill my tea 3 times.

Simply atrocious and unacceptable. Our first main took 30 mins to come and tasted mediocre. The second main was fried rice with egg. They served an egg after 20 mins, and after 40 mins of waiting the fried rice still wasnāt served. We resorted to cancelling it to which the staff agreed, indicating that they probably had not started cooking. It was also observed that tables who came in 10 mins prior got their food at the same time as us when they ordered the same dish. The staff batch cooked similar items instead of cooking by order. Will not be back, highly not recommended.

-fried chicken was more flour than chicken (hardly any meat)

At least barley tea was good
Abit odd that it was so empty during sunday evening (might be due to fatherās day)

It's hard to find a good jjajangmyeon+ jampong place in Singapore as most places either do one or the other well. This place actually does both very well and the jjampong has lots of seafood ingredients in it, very peppery. Only thing that was disappointing was the tangsuyuk, I've definitely had better but it's ok. Everything came As a set for less than $35, seemed like there was a promo. As the noodle dishes were the highlight, I would definitely come back. We came at 6-630pm on a weekend, no wait to get a table. The restaurant space is quite random, it is at the basement of suntec but not inside an actual restaurant space but an open space right beside the main walk way. It can get abit noisy as the space isn't enclosed.

Nice service staff but only 2 staffs to handle all the tables, clear the tables, etc.
Hot & cold barley tea are refillable, but the service staff had to attend to each table when require.
To Paikās management, I would like to recommend, each table is placed with a hot flask of barley tea & 1 bottle of cold barley tea. It is more work effective for your floor staff.

This place food is great. First off, great service by the staff. They offered refill for the pickles. Secondly, the food is great. Ordered the yamyung chicken and it was perfect. Sweet, spicy, and had a slight nutty taste. The jjajang myeon was good, was chewy. Overall 10/10.
