Why are we in Singapore eating HK comfort food? Cos it’s good here. Love their attempt at localizing stuff and their drinks are very cool. Tried their Milo dinosaur milk tea and loved it! Friendly and quick service really makes this place a worthwhile visit.

We chance upon this restaurant when we were looking for a dining place on a Sunday evening. As usual Suntec City was crowded on weekends and when there's an event. My fiancΓ©e shortlisted this restaurant and the Pratunum Chikcen Rice. Naturally I opt for anything that's not Thai. Not that I do not like Thai food but I can get it at a fraction of the cost than in some restaurant in Singapore. There were some seats available and we were promptly seated. They provided a physical menu and we ordered via scanning a QR code. Everything looks so good on the menu. We went with the following: Stir-fried Cheong Fun, Braised Beef Brisket Claypot, Luncheon Meat Fries, XW Signature Fried Rice. Drinks I will almost certainly go with Yuan Yang (mixed coffee & tea) which is a signature Hong Kong drink and my fiancΓ©e spotted her Yuzu tea. Food came rather promptly.. the drinks first followed by the Claypot Braised Beef Brisket, then the Cheong Fun, Luncheon Meat and lastly the Fried Rice. Portions are big! We over ordered! The luncheon fries and cheong fun is listed as appetizers (小吃) but there's nothing small about them. We thought we were "safe" by ordering one main - Fried Rice - and 2 appeitzers or sides. We ended up struggling to finish the food but my goodness they are tasty. The braised beef is so tender and literally melts in your mouth. The claypot version do not come with white rice but they have a rice and braised beef option for those wanting to have some rice as well. Luncheon Fries is reasonable in size and the cheong fun is once again too much for a 小吃. Fried rice is delicious with lots of ingredients. I liked the ιΈ³ιΈ― the coffee and tea mix packs a punch unlikely mostly watered down versions I have else where. It is a typical eat-and-go restaurant so noise level is expected and dependent very much on the guests seated around you. I glanced at the neighboring tables and spotted their dessert size is also bigger than usual. The tables are movable so if you have a large party they will shift the tables/chairs to accommodate. It's a nice restaurant for some good ole Hong Kong food. No fuss.. sit-eat-go.

Had dinner with my family on a Sunday night. Was able to get a seat quote fast, however service was not very good after that. We ordered via the QR code and then subsequent requested for our side of broccoli and carrots to be only carrots, and also cooked longer/softer. The waiter kept telling us in an exasperated tone that the side s premixed with the seasoning, even after we explained that the seasoning wasn't the problem, and the chef just has to serve us more broccoli and no carrots. He then stormed off personally to check with the kitchen, but never came back. We had wanted to make another request of less ice for our drink but he never came back and our drink was served soon after with so much ice and so little drink. When our food was served with the side, it came with both broccoli and carrots, and both were not cooked soft. Also, service staff kept dropping utensils, causing lots noises every time it happened. Ambience was noisy especially because of this, and also other patrons dragging their chairs loudly. Food was avidly not bad, we ordered the olive fried rice with pork chop, chicken chop with broccoli/carrots and Mac and cheese, and chicken chop nissin noodles. My wife also got a red bean soy milk. I liked the olive rice and the noodles, which was junky but had tasty soup. Total came up to just under $50,but not sure if I'll come again due to the service.

Love the food especially olive fried rice, hotplate chicken. Value for money. Azuki soy milk is way too much ice, feel quite cheated. Place is very noisy and servers kept dropping plates. Service is prompt but not fantastic. Total bill sgd50 for 2 adults and 3 young children, very worth it. Will come back and sit nearer entrance where hopefully it is less noisy.

I’m a regular at this restaurant in Hong Kong, so I was thrilled to find it here in Singapore! The food tastes just as great as I remember β€” full of flavor and quality. I was also really impressed with the service. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was served surprisingly fast. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

We’re in Singapore leh but the service feels like locals Hong Kong-style :( I can see the brand is making effort to renew and refresh the products, so keep working on backend departments!

Service was really awesome and the food was good too. The manager saw that my grandmother was in a wheelchair and gave us the seat where it wasn't too cold. He was really friendly as well, and the older lady serving us was very kind too.

Got a bad bowl of hor fun with clumped up noodle and spoiled shrimp. Otherwise experience is good especially for the braised beef noodle. Service is quick.
