Dining time - Lunch 12pm The restaurant was spacious with good distance between tables that allowed for conversations without needing to shout or be overheard. Service was brisk and hectic which was understandable. Service staff was responsive and polite even though they were very busy. Food quality overall was disappointing. I have always held that the Crystal Jade group had high food and service quality standards but this one did not perform up to par. Their roast pork was very dry and flavourless. The skin was not crispy at all which was disappointing. We ordered our usual fav, Claypot Minced pork with salted fish, but even this wasn’t as good as it usually is.

Tasty and good service. came here for their Dim sum. Air con is very cold which they cant control. So bring jacket if you bring old folks. Price is on the high side as compare to other Dim Sum eatery but you get quality stuff here. Love their XO Carrot Cake, steam Pork rib, Steam Chicken Feet, Steam glutinous rice, Sautéed French Bean. End off with dessert Mango Puree Pomelo Sago. Recommended for family with kids or old folks.

Happened to have lunch here with my missus. A very renowned restaurant here in Singapore. Ordered some dim sum like har gow and siew mai and the Niu Nan mian. The dishes were good as the ingredients were fresh. But a notch below outstanding in my opinion. The braised beef was cooked well and soft to the bite. The noodles were also the traditional type so I liked it very much. Service was adequate. Prices were as expected, expensive as most restaurants in Singapore are expensive. The ambience was also typical of Chinese restaurant here in Singapore. It was very busy when we visited on a weekday lunch time.

Slightly pricey for certain dishes but on the overall a decent Chinese meal. There can be more variety of dishes for each category: Food is nice, especially the salted egg yolk prawn. The rest of them are also up to expectations. Waiting time is short but staff can be more attentive.

I love Crystal Jade HK kitchen in Taka. I’ve always patronize this branch even before their renovation. The food never disappoints me, but in some occasions it might be a little different. Take for example the XO carrot cake, one was during a weekday lunch, the carrot cake was fried to perfection with wok hei aroma and the flavor was amazing. Another time was during a weekend lunch, the carrot cake doesn’t seem to taste as good as the weekday style, the beansprouts was lesser too. Other dishes like salad prawn is good but you might feel sick of it if you have too much. The cheong fan with fried dough was not what I expected. This comes dry instead of the saucy kind which we prefer more. Mango prawn is still as good as ever! My favorite would be the roasted dishes, roasted pork and lean charsiew. Even when it’s lean, it’s soft and good. First time trying their sweet and sour pork, yum! Definitely going back for more.
