I visited this store in Suntec City on the 17th April 2025, I enquired if they had any safety pins in store, I also got a photo up on my phone to show the staff member to clarify what I was looking for to be shouted 5 times in successions NO, NO, NO, NO, NO in my face very loudly, the young brown haired woman was extremely angry. It was shocking, I have never had such terrible customer service, I felt uncomfortable and left the shop immediately. I can’t even blame the translation as I showed the photo and was very polite. I can see other poor reviews from this shop, disappointing that changes haven’t been made.

I like the spacious outlet in suntec, but I believe the cashier should have more customer service and smile more. It was a Friday evening, and I simply wanted to buy items for my family. Ready to pay yet the cashier did not direct me and I have to prompt 'can I pay?'. It is like talking to a robot.

Staff by the name Koh Yeok May was extremely hostile and rude. Caught her side glanced at my wife even though my wife was nice throughout the transaction and she literally threw the receipt on the counter when my wife reached out her hand for it. What's wrong with Guardian? Standard has dropped drastically through the years of operation. Don't think we as consumers should deserved such treatment. Very disappointed and disturbing.

My father went to the pharmacist and request for a medicine however it was not available. Instead of giving my dad a proper advice, he proceeded to talk shit with the sales person about how my dad was asking for something stupid and unreasonable. It was so unprofessional of him to do so especially when customers are around. A huge thumbs down for this Guardian outlet!

I was served by a lady wearing specs at the counter today around 8pm . When I asked her about the items she just replied me like how a robot would reply me and the reply was so soft as if l could hear what she was saying . She does not smile or greet customers at all too. This job is clearly not suitable for her as she clearly is not able to get this job done to the bare minimum .

Visited on 27 Aug 2024, around 8pm. As per the other already scathing reviews, received bad service from pharmacist and one of the cashier. Approached to ask on a item but were busy talking to each other instead and only half heartedly answered me. Another friendly cashier who I did not ask the questions to went to look for the item and asked me if it was the right item. Thankfully it was. I did not manage to catch her name but she's the reason for the extra star. (2 star instead of 1)

same experience as whatever the 1 star review says. confused because i bought something that said there was 35% off but when she keyed it into the cashier it showed the full priced. asked her about it nicely and she said it doesn’t say the item i bought was on sale so i pointed it to her and then after that she gave me the discount. so she can choose whether or not to give customers discount or what? ridiculous

Super unfriendly, snobbish malay hijabi cashier. Really thought she was mute or what. Didn't even open her mouth to ask for my payment option or anything. No communication. Didn't even ask if I wanted plastic or what. Even when she had finished scanning my item, she just stood there, looking down, not even telling me that the transaction is done. I had to be the one to ask if she had scanned my items alrdy or not. Attitude level to the max. If cannot face customers, don't work in this kind of line la

I was disappointed to find that the Guardian store, which looks like a pharmacy, sells homeopathic products like Hyland's Earache Drops. Homeopathy is not based on science, and remedies like these are diluted so much that they contain no active ingredients—just water or filler. For example, with a 30C homeopathic remedy, the chance of the bottle you buy containing even a single molecule of the active substance is about the same as winning the lottery a million times in a row. Customers should read labels carefully to avoid spending money on products like this. Look out for terms like 'homeopathic' or high dilutions (e.g., 30C or 200C), which indicate the product is based on disproven practices and not real medical treatments.
