Decided to give the newly opened outlet at Suntec a try. Unfortunately, my first time eating at Guzman u Gomez is likely to be my last. For the price they are charging, it's totally not worth it. I had a hard time finishing my mini burrito because it's just a lot of rice and very little of anything else. There's supposed to be pulled pork but I struggled to find much of it. Maybe just a sprinkle of it. Seriously disappointing. This place would be a good option if you feel like cutting back on meat for a day and just eat lots of rice, while overpaying for it.

I was there at night for their opening promotion. A large crowd with one queue for dining in and another for taking away. The outlet looked well staff for the day and even has staff that entertained the people queuing and gave souvenirs like lanyard.
I also vaguely heard that they were giving a big prize to the 1000th person.
The queue moved fast and we were seated in about 15 mins. We didn't know what to do though and had to depend on other diners to advise us how to order.
There was a QR code on the table for ordering and you could choose web-based or download their app to order. I chose the latter and I took about 10 minutes to get the account to set up. The app ran smoothly though and even reflected the promotional opening price. The burrito came with default fixed items and then you order the key ingredient
Amazingly the burrito came within five minutes. We ordered the ground beef option and had to pay additional dollar. The first bite was delicious. Then we noted the absence of green and it was then we noted that there was a salad table. There was a queue to take salad. Initially I thought the queue was for pick up.
The salad consisted of onions, chopped coriander leaves and Jalapeño I guessed. Salsa sauce came in mild, medium and hot. The medium salsa was already quite spicy. The mild salsa was alright but after a while I found it rather sour.
We weren't sure how to eat the burrito. We just ate one bite and then ate another bite of our prepared salad. After eating about one third to half of the burrito, we noted that there were no longer any ground beef in it. We could only taste the rice and bean and the taste was rather bland. But by combining it with the salsa salad, the taste was still quite palatable.
The salad bar ran out of onions at around 845 pm and I informed the staff. Took them about 20 minutes to refill it though. Probably some preparation and chopping were required.
The place played loud songs and has a very festive mood. However conversations were quite difficult. Secondly at that full house capacity, the place felt warm. The air conditioning wasn't so strong.
Overall it was an enjoyable dinner and we would return again soon.

I placed an order through the GYG mobile app during lunch hour, but I accidentally selected the Funan outlet instead of Suntec City. When I realized the mistake, I approached the staff for help. A lady and a gentleman kindly assisted me, and despite the lunch crowd, they went out of their way to sort out the issue and made sure I got my order at no additional cost. I really appreciate their excellent service. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get their names, but I would like to thank the two staff who were on shift on 29 Aug 2025 around 12pm at the Suntec City outlet. Please help me convey my thanks!
