Decided to give this place a try and we were so glad we did. Friendly and attentive staffs, delicious food at affordable pricing, lots of variety that we were spoilt for choices. I remembered this japan fried noodles dish from cineleisure basement when i was a teenager and i couldnt seem to find it anywhere in local japanese restaurant. Was so happy to see it available here and learnt that it's called modanyaki. We also had the beef nabe and it's definitely the best miso soup we had. The soup is refillable and is so flavourful that i could have just the soup and plain rice and be content. The squid tentacles were fresh and perfectly done. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back again to try other menus!

The food here tasted so authentic! To be honest, okonomiyaki tasted even nicer than I had in japan as It is more rich and flavourful in taste. I will come back just for this! Same goes for the beef nabe broth is very rich and has a unique miso taste. All very good, except the smoked duck which is very salty, but the chilli has a yuzu blend which is sooooo nice!! First to dine in when they open 5.30pm and food r cooked and served hot! Yums 🤤

Authentic okonomiyaki and yakisoba! Flavorful! Delicious! Customer service is super good and made our time there very enjoyable! Ordered nabe pork and beef too, and it came after we finish the okonomiyakis, which finishes our meal very well as the veg and miso soup are refreshing to the palette.

This restaurant located at the same place like previous Tsuruhashi Fugetsu. Still offering okonomiyaki, but there are a lot of differences on the other items. Tried both okonomiyaki and udon nabe, both are fantastic! The team member are friendly and accommodating. The food is also super nice (still one of the best okonomiyaki in Singapore). The only thing is.. If you wanted to visit this place, be prepare to leave with smelly clothes :D The exhaust fan in their restaurant still not that good. So it is a smokey, hot and crowded. But in fairness it gave you the real japanese vibe.

Pretty authentic Japanese restaurant. Suggest to do reservation on chope beforehand to reduce wait time. Free cake in a can for expenses > $55. Staff speak Japanese and English. Walk all the way in and it’s the last store inside. Cosy place to hang out.

Pretty bad service.. and the food comes pretty cold. Was expecting the food to be serve on the grill but end up all served on individual hot plate ( that is not very hot ).. we asked the staffs before the food comes, whether are the food serve on the grill, the lady said yes. But I think she misheard what I asked. And when she serve the food on individual plate, I ask if we can serve on the grill. She said that there is no more serving on grill.. I feel they should have let the customers know about it at the beginning, as I do not like to eat cold okonomiyaki and cold yakisoba, also I requested to have more sauce for the okonomiyaki but didn’t came. Finally get it after asking again. The taste of the food is average, the okonomiyaki taste good on the first few bites while it is still good. The tentacles is dry, cold and salty. Hope they can at least serve with some mayonnaise at the side. The yakisoba is so-so. I will rather go Don Don donki to buy all these..

The Hokkaido motsu nabe is great. The cabbage inside is right on the spot and tastes sweet and fresh. The motsu is well prepared and without any odour. The only drawback is that the portion of motsu is a bit small, only 10+ pcs. Besides, the top up of the soup is free for the 1st time and you can ask the chef to fine tune the taste of soup if you want. Overall it is a good meal. The food is great and the service is attentive although portion of motsu kinda small.

Great new restaurant for okonomiyaki. I had the mondan-yaki which had noodles mixed in too and it was delicious. One of the best I've had in SG. The buta tepanyaki had very flavourful pork but would have preferred it slightly more tender. Will be back to try the hotpots.

We enjoyed our meal here! The lamb tsukune was absolutely delicious to us but some might find it too lamb-y. It was perfect to us. The hanabi seafood yakisoba had a wonderful char and the noodle texture was so qq. The dish was so more-ish and we enjoyed every bit of it. It was a tad oily but I guess that’s what makes it delicious lol. The motsunabe was very warming and umami, and went very well with a bowl of rice. We are lovers of motsunabe and have been to a few restaurants serving this around Singapore and this rendition is our favourite. The motsu texture is not too chewy and it does not smell bad. Just wish they were more generous with the portion of motsu! Service was fast and friendly, especially the male waiter who was particularly cheerful. We spent $93 for 2pax and left with happy and full bellies. Bonus: we spotted a typo on one of the posters on the wall which states their shop name wrongly 😹
