Kurohanabi at Eat at Seven represents an exciting first foray into Singapore for this renowned Hokkaido restaurant brand, bringing authentic Japanese dining culture to Suntec City since 2015. As one of seven specialized Japanese dining concepts housed within the innovative "Eat at Seven" back-alley themed dining destination, Kurohanabi offers Singapore diners their first taste of traditional Hokkaido cuisine in an atmosphere reminiscent of a cozy Sapporo restaurant. The establishment features intimate private booths with warm lighting and brick walls, creating an authentic Japanese dining environment that transports guests from the bustling Suntec City mall to the heart of northern Japan.
Specializing in the unique art of motsu nabe (offal hotpot), Kurohanabi introduces Singapore to this traditional Japanese comfort food alongside expertly crafted okonomiyaki and yakisoba dishes. Their signature offerings include the Natto Matsu Nabe ($42) with earthy fermented soybean flavors, Motsu Okonomiyaki ($19.80) that creatively combines innards with Japanese pancake techniques, and the premium Wagyu Motsu Yakisoba ($21.80) featuring A5 Wagyu beef chunks. The restaurant also showcases other Hokkaido specialties like Lamb Tsukune ($15.80) served as a burger-style patty with minced lamb and nagaimo, and Kamo Hanabi ($14.80) featuring pan-fried duck breast in house-made marinade.
Operating daily from 11:30am to 10pm with a lunch break between 3pm and 5:30pm, Kurohanabi has quickly established itself as a destination for authentic, affordable Japanese cuisine in Singapore. The restaurant accommodates families and large groups while maintaining its reputation for friendly, attentive service that complements the authentic flavors. Pretty bad service.. and the food comes pretty cold. Was expecting the food to be serve on the grill but end up all served on individual hot plate ( that is not very hot ).. we asked the staffs before the food comes, whether are the food serve on the grill, the lady said yes. But I think she misheard what I asked. And when she serve the food on individual plate, I ask if we can serve on the grill. She said that there is no more serving on grill.. I feel they should have let the customers know about it at the beginning, as I do not like to eat cold okonomiyaki and cold yakisoba, also I requested to have more sauce for the okonomiyaki but didn’t came. Finally get it after asking again. The taste of the food is average, the okonomiyaki taste good on the first few bites while it is still good. The tentacles is dry, cold and salty. Hope they can at least serve with some mayonnaise at the side. The yakisoba is so-so. I will rather go Don Don donki to buy all these..

Decided to give this place a try and we were so glad we did.
Friendly and attentive staffs, delicious food at affordable pricing, lots of variety that we were spoilt for choices.
I remembered this japan fried noodles dish from cineleisure basement when i was a teenager and i couldnt seem to find it anywhere in local japanese restaurant. Was so happy to see it available here and learnt that it's called modanyaki.
We also had the beef nabe and it's definitely the best miso soup we had. The soup is refillable and is so flavourful that i could have just the soup and plain rice and be content. The squid tentacles were fresh and perfectly done.
Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back again to try other menus!

The food here tasted so authentic! To be honest, okonomiyaki tasted even nicer than I had in japan as It is more rich and flavourful in taste. I will come back just for this!
Same goes for the beef nabe broth is very rich and has a unique miso taste. All very good, except the smoked duck which is very salty, but the chilli has a yuzu blend which is sooooo nice!!
First to dine in when they open 5.30pm and food r cooked and served hot! Yums 🤤

Authentic okonomiyaki and yakisoba! Flavorful! Delicious! Customer service is super good and made our time there very enjoyable! Ordered nabe pork and beef too, and it came after we finish the okonomiyakis, which finishes our meal very well as the veg and miso soup are refreshing to the palette.

Food taste good. Couldnt enjoy more due to my son having sudden fever n headache. My son still eat them cuz the ramen soup base my wife ordered was sweet type. i only know how to eat n complain like a small child. Head straight home after the meal. Will come back again.

This restaurant located at the same place like previous Tsuruhashi Fugetsu.
Still offering okonomiyaki, but there are a lot of differences on the other items.
Tried both okonomiyaki and udon nabe, both are fantastic! The team member are friendly and accommodating. The food is also super nice (still one of the best okonomiyaki in Singapore).
The only thing is..
If you wanted to visit this place, be prepare to leave with smelly clothes :D
The exhaust fan in their restaurant still not that good. So it is a smokey, hot and crowded. But in fairness it gave you the real japanese vibe.
