This japanese restaurant is rather popular and reservation is strongly encouraged. Food is excellent, especially the sashimi and sushi. The beef tenderloin and Aus wagyu don was pretty good as well. Service is ok, but I wished that the restaurant could be bit brighter as it makes reading the menu difficult in dim conditions.

Came by for dinner. There's a counter at the front but nobody was there to guide me in, possibly still early for a host to be there.
Just a quick dinner fix, ordered the senryo signature sushi platter. Wasn't disappointed at all, the fishes were fresh and portions were as generous as pictured in the menu. They dont add any wasabi to the sushi so you have to add them yourself.
All in all, good experience. Quite attentive throughout the meal with my requests and asking if I wanted drinks as well.

I must be expecting a little too much resulting my disappointment. Food is really, really just mediocre. Ordered lots of food due to their appealing menu and their relatively low price tags. The only greatness is their Suntory. Yes, great, served at an optimal temperature.
On a side note, only after a few days, I learned that this restaurant is operated by Genki Sushi. No wonder the food is…….Err…

After a great experience at the ION branch, I decided to try the Suntec outlet for their lunch sets, which are available until 5pm. My order at 4:45pm was accepted without issue.
The space feels like a typical Japanese izakaya, which was pleasant though not particularly memorable.
Service was inconsistent, generally lukewarm and sombre, but our requests were met efficiently. Having said that, it made me miss the chirpier and kore positive team at ION, even with the weekend crowds.
Food here leans full-flavoured, but was still solid, good-quality Japanese fare and really value-for-money.
To be fair, my high expectations were set by the ION branch, which left a strong impression. If this were your first visit to sen-ryo, I would recommend starting with the Suntec branch for a great experience, then visiting ION for something more memorable.

super busy during lunch times but for good reason! the sashimi is so fresh and portion sizes are reasonable as well. we were asked to move tables as a big group was coming in and the manager gave us dessert for free as a thank you.
