From the moment I walked in, the staff were so friendly and even helped me with my baby stroller, which made my visit super comfortable.
Now, let’s talk about the food—especially the Tempura, which I absolutely love!
The prawn Tempura was incredibly fresh and crispy. But what really stood out was the tomato Tempura — when I bit into it, it literally burst in my mouth with the perfect mix of sweetness and savory flavors.
My baby had a great time nibbling on the corn, which was just right for his little teeth. The Soba was also delicious and comforting.
I’ve pampered myself here a few times because the food never disappoints. This was my third visit, and every time the dishes impress me. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving quality tempura in a warm, family-friendly environment!

Had a very nice meal at Tempura Makino. The tempura feels light and not greasy, rice was cooked to perfection. Portion is generous and the service was great! What more can you ask for.

Such an amazing place which we tried for the first time. The tempura was delicious and soft shell crab was crispy and tasty. Service was excellent too. Keep it up.

Love the ebi tempura here. The executive set has really good variety. Reasonable price and good environment. Service is responsive and all the staff is very polite. Will return again.

The salmon bowl was really delicious and fresh. The egg tempura was so crispy and the yolk just melts in your mouth. Thank you to the service staff for being attentive and pleasant during the dining experience.

Singapore is my second home and by chance few months back I discovered this great place. Food is delicious, staff friendly and if you love Japanese, it’s the right place to go. Weekend there’s a long queue, around 30 min wait I had to wait on three occasions but is worth. During the week there’s no queue and food is delivered quick to the table. Great service and very tasty food.

First visit here. Pleasant ambience, and pleasant service. Restaurant was pretty empty at 8pm on a Monday evening.
The tempura is good. I had the tendon with seafood. I wished there was more sauce. Had to request for chilli powder. It can be a little hard to get the attention of the staff at times.
The only grouse I have is the egg had something like a layer of mushy batter below. Not sure if it was supposed to be that way, but I don't think I am a fan of it
Would definitely return. Happy with my dining experience on the whole.
