Visited Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine @ Suntec City for lunch with a colleague and had a great first experience with Hunan food. The queuing system is efficient—just scan a QR code, and you'll be notified when it’s your turn. While waiting, the front counter staff offered iced water and snacks, which was a thoughtful touch.
The restaurant also provides free ice cream, packaged snacks, and fun balloon sculptures for kids—nice extras that make the visit feel more welcoming.
We found the food to be delicious, though a bit oilier than I usually prefer. I enjoyed the oolong tea. It was strong, aromatic, and not watered down. Service was quick and attentive, and pricing felt reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
Overall, a pleasant dining experience. Looking forward to trying more dishes from the chain in future visits!

As a frequent customer of Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine, I have tried a good variety of their dishes, and I have to say that every single one this year has been nothing short of amazing.
I really enjoy their spicy dishes, especially the double spicy fish, Iberico pork with green chilli peppers.
This time, I tried the century egg with eggplant, and it was surprisingly amazing in all the good ways. Also, the most iconic thing to me that makes everything so good is definitely their basic carbohydrates, which is the mineral water rice. We got two rice pots at $6.9 each that serve five people. It was so pearly, fresh, and aromatic. I really love their jumbo ice lemon tea too.
Other than the food and the long queues, getting a queue number was really easy by scanning a QR code. We went on a Friday night and waited about 30 minutes with a group of six ahead of us when we started to queue at 7:30 PM.
Service from the staff was really good and smiley, and they are so efficient.

Very good service crew. All smiles and polite. It’s a v busy time yet the manager Kenis was v patient and attentive. He noticed us picking the food apart from the sauce. He Came to ask us how’s the food..
We feedback that it was too salty. He listened and then told us later he took that off the bill! And bless us with complimentary desserts. We were Very pleasantly surprised.
The restaurant can consider to add some wall paper or fabric to soften and to absorb the noise in the dining hall.

Second time dining here and the customer service is still superb. The beef is really spicy but tasty with the local Hainan white fragrant rice. My fav is the organic cauliflower and chicken mushroom soup. The tossed vermicelli was average though.

Mixed experience, but good food and reasonable prices.
We visited on a Saturday afternoon and scanned the QR code for a waiting number around 5:30 p.m. The system indicated a 55-minute wait with 6 groups ahead, so we decided to take a walk. To our surprise, we received a notification that our table was ready in less than 5 minutes – much quicker than expected.
We placed our order for three dishes at 5:53 p.m. The first two dishes arrived within 10 minutes, which was great. However, we had to wait at least 30 minutes for the final dish, despite reminding two different waiters. It finally arrived after a significant delay, and we were offered a complimentary dish as compensation, which was a nice gesture.
Overall, the food was good and the prices were reasonable compared to other simialr restaurants. However, the service could definitely be improved, particularly regarding the timing and coordination of dish delivery.

Newly opened branch. Wanted a quick lunch, and tried their signature green pepper pork stir fry and Changsha century egg mashes with eggplant, both are delicious. Nice touch on their free snack crackers and ice cream. Service is fast and efficient. We’ll be back to try the other dishes.

We were in suntec city for a conference and decided to come for lunch.
The service was impeccable and somewhat similar to Haidilao. The food offerings were good and their price was reasonable.
Over all it was a good experience. I found some dishes salty but still acceptable.

Ordered golden broth sour and spicy fish $32.90, garlic sautéed lettuce $11.90 (slightly oily), original taste glutinous bamboo shoots $14.90 (fresh and crunchy) and braised luffa $15.90 (portion too small as dish stuffed with too much soggy youtiao).
Food were served hot with burners to keep warm, very typical Chinese cuisines, go well with a bowl of hot steamed rice. There’s also self service complimentary packaged crackers and ice cream available.
Overall pricey imo for the portion served, one can subscribe as their member on the spot and enjoy member’s prices instantly.
