Decent yakitori place in a classy interior. Indoor seating area is nice and cosy, but not your traditional Japanese izakaya setup, but a nice place to bring a date I’d think. Food was good, with special mention to some of the skewers like the chicken liver, heart, both of which were very tender and juicy, not too dry. Tsukune was very unique, where they have blended the yolk with Japanese curry, which was a refreshing take on the dish. Some of the less well made skewers in my opinion were the chicken skin and tails. Otherwise most of the dishes were of good quality, worth a future visit.

Came across this place on Instagram and decided to try it as I wanted yakitori and alcohol. I made a reservation and was thankfully given indoor seats. Ordered quite a number of items off their menu, and what delighted me were the chicken liver, grilled cheese, fried chicken skin with ponzu sauce, tsukune with raw egg and pork belly. The oyster would have been better without the berry sauce they put over it, cause I would have wanted to taste the original taste of the oyster, and the sauce essentially just masked quite a lot of the taste. I'm also quite mixed about their oyako don as I expected the traditional version when I ordered it, but what came was something more like a lu rou fan. Don't get me wrong, it was rather tasty and the accompanying soup was great, but if I'm eating Japanese food, I'm expecting something that matches what I think it should be.

Great yakitori experience with omakase touches! Tried the a la carte skewers and was impressed by the variety, from chicken neck to liver mousse on toast. The atmosphere is cozy, especially at the counter where you can watch the chef grill each skewer. Great place for a chill dinner or late-night bite. Would definitely return!

From the perfectly grilled skewers and juicy tsukune to the rich abura soba and unforgettable shiso-wrapped chicken skin shrimp (so divine I abandoned my camera!), every bite showed the chef's dedication. The ingredients were fresh, the grilling techniques masterful, and the service warm—a truly exceptional dining experience where you can taste the passion in every detail. Not fast food but soul food you truly deserve. Will be back soon! Pro tip: sit at the bar to see the perfectly timed grilling in action.

Absolutely delicious yakitori! The skewers were perfectly grilled—juicy, flavorful, and with just the right amount of smokiness. The server’s recommendations were spot-on.

Really enjoyed the ambience, wonderful service and great conversation with their bartender, Lillium. Pricing is decent for the quality and we enjoyed how they served the sake. Will be back soon!

One of the best yakitori spots in Singapore. A must-try! I absolutely loved the melt-in-your-mouth texture of the foie gras mousse. The omakase set was a great deal, excellent value for money.

It’s been our go to spot ever since we discovered it. My colleagues and I almost head down every week. Their tenderloin is my fav super soft and tender ! Exactly like the ones I’ve tasted in Japan! Many will have the misunderstanding saying that it’s “uncooked”, but that’s the authentic style of Japanese Yakitori. Their aramasa sake was also well picked not many local restaurants have. Highly recommend

Had such a great experience at Yakitori ONE!! The food was so yummy and we got to try so many rare cuts of chicken 😋 As someone who don’t usually eat giblets, I was so impressed by the trachea & gizzard BUT my favourite has got to be the chicken tail!! So crispy 🤤 And their signature high ball is a must try too~ Will be back again!! P.S service is equally impeccable, thank you Jason 🤩
