Nice atmosphere and service was good. We tried the tomato soup and found it to be good. The pork rib soup was quite diluted. Food wise was ok.

Good mala and tomato soup base options. Meat was fresh and of good quality. However, service was a bit lacking - struggled to get drink refills and often waited for responses. Expected better service overall. Food was good, but service needs improvement.

Pleasantly surprised by Zhong Chong Mala! Despite not being a big mala fan, I found their soup base to be incredibly tasty and of superior quality, made with fresh ingredients. The mala level was just right, not overpowering, and the overall flavor was excellent. The prompt service was also a definite a plus. Spacious restaurant space.

Didn’t know Putien actually opened a sister restaurant that does hotpot. Soups and ingredients were yummy, and they also serve my favourite Putien chilli sauce at the condiment station! 😋 The chicken pumpkin + mala soups were yummy!

Food and soup generally good. But service reallyyyyyyy lacking at Suntec outlet…. looked understaffed but still general service not there. The staff in black look unhappy to be here/ attending. Waited 1h15mins. See got many empty table but just no one clearing to sit new people in yet snaking queue waiting outside. Almost wanted to go HDL instead for my hotpot fix. Great world city service is great though. Not Suntec

$103 for half portion watercress, half portion beef tongue, half portion enoki mushroom and 1 full portion of beef and a drink. We were still hungry, so we had to eat the vegetables and the pork bone in the soup 💀 Also, the chopsticks are very uncomfortable and gave me hand cramp several times. Soup is nice tho.

Tried Uncle Fong hotpot today. It seems like no MSG was used in the soup and food. The chicken and fish maw soup was delicious. However, the mild mala soup was spicier than other hotpot chains' medium spiciness and not really pleasant to drink as I only tasted spiciness. It was good for cooking the ingredients though. I liked their tender beef, luncheon meat, chive dumplings, Putien tofu, and brown sugar jelly. The place was clean and the service was great.

Visited Uncle Fong for their famous spicy hot pot. The food was fresh, especially the sliced beef and shrimp paste, but some items like the fish balls tasted a bit generic. Broth options are bold and flavorful, though a few dipping sauces could use better balance. Atmosphere was energetic but crowded. Tables are packed close together, and it gets noisy fast. Not the best for quiet conversation, but okay for casual group outings. Ambiance is warm with nice lighting and traditional decor, but the noise level and tight space take away from the overall comfort. Good for a one-time experience if you enjoy strong flavors and a busy vibe. Could be a 4-star spot with better ingredient quality and more comfortable seating.

Mala soup is nice. Their soup bases taste differently with the other popular hotpot chains. The beef is tender and the veg are fresh. Tried their season special - live razor clams and they didnt disappoint. Keep up the good work.

Under the same group as Putien so the quality of food is very good. Service is also very attentive. Came during a Saturday evening and it’s wasn’t that crowded but best to make a reservation before heading down. Decent selection of meats and other items that’s different enough from other hotpot chains to make this a bit more interesting. Give it a try and see if you prefer this to others in the shopping center.
