The taste was okay, but the portion was quite small and a bit expensive for me at $3.30 each. Good thing I used a 1 for 1 Shopee voucher, it made it more reasonable.

Went to see the Lego dragon display at atrium of Tower 1 and 2, saw this booth. Staff said it is a chain from Taiwan. Freshly made. Not cheap though. Good to eat while it is still warm. Just too bad there is no place to sit down.

Taro wheel pie is not bad, batter is on the lighter side which is good. filing is generous so the ratio of skin to filling is good, wont feel like you are eating just flour. taro is also not sweet but lacks the taro flavor. owner says they make their fillings from scratch so it might be the fresh taro that day. think can give the drinks a miss, only can taste the milk. still giving 4 star because this is a wheelpie shop and not a drink shop. spotted JJ Lin's photo in display. and there is nougat crackers on sale too.

It's impressive how Mister Wheel retains both traditional Taiwanese flavours and also introduce new Singaporean flavours! They even have savoury flavours! Mochi can be added for extra chewy texture! 🌟Durian lovers cannot miss out on the new luscious Mao Shan Wang Durian flavour! I can smell the durian aroma before I bite into it! (seasonal flavour while stocks last!) 🌟Original Taiwan Flavours: Custard cream, Earl grey custard, Strawberry custard - creamier and more dessert-like Taiwan taro, Purple sweet potato, Red bean - more natural and hearty 🌟Singapore Flavours: Pandan custard, Milo custard - comforting, Pandan one has extra crunch from pumpkin seeds 🌟Savoury Flavours: Lobster salad, Corn soup, Truffle mushroom - appetising and flavourful I strongly recommend to enjoy the wheel pies while fresh and warm! 🌟Drinks: Osmanthus Oolong Tea - unsweetened premium tea with osmanthus fragrance Brown Sugar Milk Tea - aromatic and slightly sweet from the brown sugar Taro Milk - Generous chunks of taro that mixes well with the milk once we give it a good stir 📣Check out my IG @samlivestoeat for more detailed foodie reviews! 🥰

We had the Mister Wheel little pancakes for the first time when I was in Taiwan. I remember them being hard on the outside and soft on the inside with ooey-gooey fillings. I'm so happy to see that they have an outlet in Singapore. They offer several flavours beyond my imagination! ⏰️ The waiting time was about 15 minutes, as they made these wheel pancakes from scratch upon ordering, ensuring freshness. The staff was friendly and very meticulous at work too! It is a take out concept with a small bench at the back. ------- Here is what we tried: We tried about seven flavours of the pancake wheels; Sweet & Savoury options. Adding mochi for an extra cost was a nice chewy touch. We also tried different savoury flavours: 🫓 Corn Soup, 🫓 Lobster Salad, and 🫓 Truffle Mushroom. All of the savoury options seemed to have a base of mashed potatoes infused with the respective flavours. For the sweet flavours, we went with 🫓Taro 🫓Custard, 🫓 Earl Grey and I tried the 🫓 Durian Custard, a collaboration with a local Singaporean dessert shop. The real durian custard was very aromatic, creamy, and slightly fibrous, and for $5.80, I think it was an interesting local twist! Its safe to say that my favourite dessert wheel was the 🫓 Earl Grey Custard. It carried a light floral essence of Earl Grey, and the soft, gooey custard sweet filling was a delightful treat. 🍵 Beverages They offer a good variety of hot and cold beverages, from coffee to milk tea. They specialise in their milk tea! The coffee is pretty decent like cafe standards, which surprised me! I tried the pandan milk, which was interesting and refreshing. It had a slight sweetness, but it seemed natural with no artificial flavourings, as the taro yam was imported from Taiwan.

Mister Wheel is traditional Taiwanese snack. It is similar to Japanese Obanyaki. This is their first international outlet in Singapore. Although the pancake slightly costly $3.90 each, they made on the spot after your purchase. You will need to wait around 10 minutes. I ordered Taro. It is very crispy and the filling quite generous. When you bite, the filling is warm and crunchy. Suitable for kids and elderly as well.

We went on a weekday afternoon and there’s no Q. The staff kindly introduced us that there were freshly made available flavors if we wanted to eat now, other flavors we would have to wait if we wanted when made. She was a bit blur about the combos and promotions but she was helpful and cheerful. Each pancake was about $3.30+ but with promo it’s less than $6 with a water. It’s pretty good for a snack. My mum who loves such pancakes said it’s one of the better ones she’s eaten. The filling is quite a lot and the batter is crispy outside but soft inside. We wish they didn’t cut off the crispy edge to make it round. We like the crispy part. The red bean filling is full and nice bean taste, not too sweet. The custard filling was ok. I think the flavor of custard can be stronger. It doesn’t really taste like anything. I think I’ll try other flavors next time instead of custard. If I’m in Suntec and nearby this place, I might eat it again as a snack. A bit pricier than other brands of similar pancake but the flavor is better. The kiosk is a bit non-descript so it’s easy to miss. We didn’t even realise we walked past this kiosk many times during our past visits to suntec , it’s actually at the ground floor of super park playground near the escalator. Because of the decoration, it looks like some bubble tea or coffee kiosk. Only on closer inspection they had pancakes. Edit: I’ve been back there twice and didn’t manage to buy anything. It’s very disappointing that they cannot accede to simple requests. Can we buy the set and get 2 red bean instead of the designated 1 custard and 1 red bean? No, cannot, must be 1 custard & 1 red bean. Why? The price is the same for the signature flavor. No, the staff said cannot. Must be the same as the picture. Ok, nobody wanted to eat custard so no reason to pay extra for ala carte when there’s a set promotion, so we left. Again we went, this time we asked, can we buy the set and top up money to add Mochi? No, cannot. For that value set it’s fixed. Either you buy ala carte or order the set with tea instead, then you can choose top up mochi +$0.50 but nobody wanted the beverage. So no point to order and we left again. So strange, simple requests and we are willing to pay the top up for mochi but cannot. I don’t think we will try this place again. Waste the effort to go there and be disappointed. It’s easy for them to customise but they refuse to. Maybe the management doesn’t allow so the staff aren’t empowered. How sad. Stars reduced for poor service, not customer centric.

Mister Wheel products are very unique & interesting, especially the special stamping on the pies which attracted me most. The flavours offered are also not common & very appealing. I love the Earl Grey one best and decided to order for my friends to try. Darryl provided exemplary service in meeting my needs though my orders weren’t big. Greatly appreciate the patience n kindness extended though I am only a first time patron. More support should be given to our small & creative businesses like Mister Wheel. Cheers!
