Donkey and I had a craving for makgeolli while we were at Suntec City. We decided to hunt for a Korean restaurant in Suntec, and we stumbled upon Wonderful BapSang. It was a delightful surprise.
Wonderful BapSang is a Korean restaurant located in Suntec City Mall, Singapore. It offers a unique combination of traditional Korean cuisine, a minimarket, and street food options. The restaurant is known for its stylish decor, exceptional service, and delicious food.
The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant had a warm and friendly ambiance, with a small supermarket right in front. This unique setup added to the charm and made it feel very welcoming.
We asked the staff for recommendations, as there were quite a few dishes on the menu. They suggested the Chadol Yukgaejang (beef soup) and the Haemul Pajeon (seafood pancake), mentioning that the seafood pancake was a popular choice and better than the kimchi pancake. We also chose a liter of makgeolli, which was perfect for the two of us. The makgeolli was delicious. There were two types of makgeolli on the menu, and we were glad we chose the one-liter bottle.
The seafood pancake was absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t stop raving about it and devoured most of it. The Chadol Yukgaejang was equally delicious. The soup was super flavorful, and I loved the grass noodles and the ingredients.
The service was exceptional. We asked for multiple refills of the side dishes and even asked for our makgeolli to be kept chilled. The staff was incredibly helpful and prompt, always happy to assist us with a smile.
We had a fantastic experience at Wonderful BapSang. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the cozy atmosphere was a perfect setting for our evening. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Korean food and a friendly dining experience at Suntec City.
I had an amazing dining experience here! The Korean cuisine was absolutely delicious, and every dish was authentic and bursting with flavor. The service was top-notch; the staff was attentive and made us feel very welcome. They even offered us a chance to try an off-menu side dish, which was so good that we couldn't resist ordering it to take home after our meal. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for exceptional Korean food and outstanding service!
Attentive and polite table service but cashier’s attitude slightly cold. Food portion is okay, taste is like home cooked meals, will recommend the fried chicken and side dish - fried lotus. Price is okay for the location, lunch set is from $12.80++. Fried chicken is $25 for 2-3 people sharing, comes with coleslaw and pickled radish. Food served quite promptly.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wonderful Bapsang, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The food was incredibly delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The kimchi was perfectly fermented, and the bulgogi was tender and flavorful. The service was exceptional as well; the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making the entire meal even more enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall charm of the place. I highly recommend Wonderful Bapsang to anyone looking for a fantastic Korean dining experience. I can’t wait to go back!
The staff were amazing. Very warm and hospitable and attentive. But the best part was the food. Really authentic and tasty! One of the best Korean restaurants in Singapore handsdown!
Food was really good. Tonkatsu was nice and the sundubu was amazing. Owner was friendly and ambience was good too! Food felt really authentic. Even the banchan was unique! AND THE KIMCHI. GOATED. Undisputed best kimchi i have had. Would come back again. 10/10
Came here for lunch with colleagues on a weekday. Did not even notice there was an eatery at the back of the shop until recently.
Their menu is quite extensive. They also serve 4 types of banchan for sharing.
I had the chicken Bibimbap. It was served in a gold metallic bowl - quite authentic and a big portion.
Price-wise, it was quite worth it for the location and amount served.
Didn't know there’s a restaurant behind the shop facade in front (bought banchan from here before)! Deung galbi wangpan is a good choice for sharing, the pork ribs comes off the bone, & taste was more sweet than spicy. Seafood pancake is kinda small for the price, but we enjoyed the meal generally.

The experience began with going into a Korean supermarket was good. Something interesting and a new concept. The seating service was lag even if it is off-peak hours. Anyways, we were seated and a thoughtful staff offered the senior citizens a storage area to put the bags. Dak Gangjeong Wangpan and kimchi soup were great! Hot honey ginger tea, honey raspberry tea and honey citron tea were all good selections!
However, for payment, a lady staff wasn't "feeling it". Without printing the receipt for us to check the costs, she deep dived to the payment modes they accept. Requested for the receipt to check the total amount, she grudgingly printed the receipt out - did not offer the receipt but kept the receipt in a roll for us to "self-serve" for total cost at the counter. It was quite hilarious.
It was a shame to have that staff with those customer service skills in a place like this. Hope the service improves over time!
