Nice selection of songs that match the millennial. Rice was served the earliest and by the time the hotpot was served and boiled, it has lapsed 15 mins. Well food portion is decent for $12.90. Extra veg added lacked some freshness (leaves were dropping) and it came in transparent wrap. Rice is $2.50 a small bowl...sad. (I ate all the meat before I took the photo)

First time here, initially was upset over the table sitting but believed he is the manager in charge relocate our table to bigger space so we appreciated for that.. everything was good, service wise.. Was surprised that there is a complimentary cake as it was to celebrate my birthday but we could not finish it as we had a cake as well.. Appreciate that the female manager came over help us take a photo and gave me a photo shot as a token too.. thank you so much especially my wife planned this dinner for me and staffs too.. Really appreciate and will be back again.. Frankly speaking I work in F&B line too, understand the table reservations too, my bad too and lastly I’m food lover cum influencer as well.. 😊

Jyu Lae Bistro offers a lively yet comfortable atmosphere, with a well-balanced sound level that makes live Mandarin music enjoyable without being overpowering. The food was surprisingly good for a bar setting, tasty mains, and satisfying desserts. Prices are slightly on the high side but fair for the quality. Service was warm and attentive, with thoughtful touches. Great for group gatherings or casual celebrations. Would return.

This stylish bistro serves up a satisfying variety of Taiwanese comfort food — from their richly braised pork belly rice with pickled greens (卤肉饭)and soy egg to crispy golden fried snacks like Taiwanese sausages, chicken wings and calamari. The cold beverages, including icy milk tea and refreshing citrus coolers, are beautifully presented. While some dishes lean on the oilier side, the overall experience is lively, flavour-packed, and perfect for a casual night out with friends. Service could be better.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself at this establishment. Seldom like loud places and bars but this place struck a balance of sound balance, quality, food options and value. Some drinks were special and creative. Food was surprisingly tasty for a bar restaurant. Quite reasonably priced as well. Great atmosphere with lively, pleasing singers. Superb hangout. Will come again.

The food was really good, and the atmosphere was great very suitable for both family and friends gatherings. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, we had an unpleasant experience with one particular middle aged male staff with a ponytail he seems to be the in-charge member. When we arrived, we were seated at a corner table with no view of the stage. Since there were a few empty four-seater tables available, we politely asked to change to one of them for a better view. Unfortunately, this staff member refused without any clear explanation, simply stating that the tables were “fully booked,” despite the lack of any reservation signs or names on those tables. Later in the evening, after some customers left and more seats became available, he still did not offer to move us. It wasn’t until we approached a female in-charge member also middle aged who was much more understanding, that our request was finally accommodated without issue. It felt like the male staff member was showing bias, especially as we noticed he gave more attention to VIP tables and guests who offered him drinks. His attitude toward us was noticeably less friendly in comparison. Overall, while the food and most of the staff were great, that one experience with the unhelpful staff member did affect our impression of the service. We hope this can be improved for future diners. Thank you ✌🏻

We went in the afternoon on a weekday, with a quieter environment. We got lost and decided to call for help with directions and the young waiter (sorry! i didn’t get your name) was so helpful and guided us on the phone as we walk through from tower 3 to convention centre. Exceptional service and the food came so quickly as well! Recommend you guys to try their 蛋饼,虾饼 and fried popcorn chicken. Thank you for your care towards us! We will be back 🥰

Had an evening of good food, great company, and lively vibes at Jyu Lae! Arrived just after 6pm to a quiet, family-friendly scene. After looking at the menu, you would see why. Food is reasonably priced with an extensive selection. Half the menu leans towards traditional Taiwanese fare, while the other half offers creative Taiwanese-Western fusion. The signature cocktails were creative and quirky, but on a Thursday night, half were unavailable, including all the flaming ones, which was a pity. I eventually opted for the cutest one, which was a cocktail with a cartoon bear in a bathtub, dramatically smoking with dry ice. It fascinated the kids at the surrounding tables, until their parents realized it was alcoholic and swiftly redirected their excitement. By 8pm, the bistro had transformed into a buzzing hotspot. Despite the full house, food arrived promptly, even with our indecisive multiple orders, which the kitchen handled promptly. The dishes were tweaked for local palates, which were slightly healthier and less oily renditions of the actual dishes I had in Taiwan. Egg crepes were flavorful without an MSG overload, and the oyster omelette was pan-fried to crisp perfection, minus the usual oiliness. The live band impressed with witty and engaging conversations in between song dedications, belting out Mandopop classics with impressive vocals. A fantastic spot for gatherings and celebrations. Maybe families with kids too as long as they leave before the crowd comes in. Highly recommend!

Had a good time with my friends on 6 March 2025. Excellent customer service for Priscilla and Jess, thanks for their recommendations as is my 1st visit Jyu Lae with my friends. All foods recommended so yummy especially the beef dish and shrimp crackers. Many thanks to Priscilla for her excellent service to ensure the dedicated song being played by the band for my colleague who is leaving SG for good. I will visit again with my family. Thank you

Came in around 2.30pm on a weekday, gotten a place and waiter just leave us to scan the QR as though he’s not keen to stride a conversation nor friendly enough, menu of QR are so long winded how do this kind of app can provide good reading??? I am a menu person and I prefer to order food thru menu not on my hp tiny screen. I ordered a black coffee but it was not hot just luked -warm that I have never seen coffee served this way, went up and get a changed. We had a hot plate grilled chicken with noodles was extremely oily , tou meow veggie was extremely salty and mentaiko fries just average , everything was just average as though I thought I was having this in a food court and overall waitpersons were all unfriendly and they can’t smile or say a simple’Hello’ it’s so unwelcoming and hostile atmosphere so I think this is the best of 1 star if there’s any lower I don’t mind, and I can also see some staffs were resting and having their meal (I am okay with you guys having meals but you could choose to sit right inside the tables so your patrons are not disturbed and you have your privacy as well) in the restaurant. Don’t think that we are welcome here and we will not return.
