The host wasn’t friendly at all. She was hostile and not keen to find us a seat. We didn’t make any reservation as it was a last minute decision to dine here. They were packed and told us to put in waiting list ourselves because it can only be done online by ourselves. They cannot manually take our phone no. and put on waitlist for us. Such bad system.
However, the food was nice. Everything we ordered were good except for the chicken skewers as the frozen taste is very strong. Not sure how they handled this to cause that taste and smell.
This japanese restaurant is rather popular and reservation is strongly encouraged. Food is excellent, especially the sashimi and sushi. The beef tenderloin and Aus wagyu don was pretty good as well. Service is ok, but I wished that the restaurant could be bit brighter as it makes reading the menu difficult in dim conditions.
Love their service, all their staff were friendly and welcoming. Their food is not very amazing. Their menu selection is limited and their portion were relatively small. My partner and I were hungry again at 9pm after our dinner at Sen Ryo, which we ended around 7pm. Their interior of the restaurant is beautiful and I think the vibe is great! Just that it was noisier during our dine in experience. If you have a smaller appetite, you can give this restaurant a try. If not, your tummy will be unsatisfied 😝
Sen-ryo is the best value for money Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to in Singapore. They serve premium and super delicious sushi and sashimi. The sushi is so authentic, it feels like you’re eating it in Japan. Their lunch set menu is a must-try, and it comes with complimentary hot or cold green tea.
I went to Hong Kong years ago and Sen-ryo was always packed with long queues. But now they have two branches in Singapore! I love both branches at ION Mall and Suntec mall, and I love how they’re open all day, from 11am to 10 pm. If you’re a Japanese food lover, I highly recommend Sen-ryo.

I am fussy about my Japanese food. And I always prefer bespoke restaurants to chains. Senryo surprised me on the upside.
The sashimi is very fresh.
The presentation: not as refined as bespoke restaurants but good enough.
The atmosphere: Comfortable but not great for catching up with 1-1 conversations. Tables are too close.
The Service: Is excellent. There is energy in the order-takers and servers.
The pricing: Reasonable for the quality and service.
It actually reminds me of Sun with Moon 🤔
Ordered the executive set and it was good. Many items and very filling. Asparagus tempura was a bit hard to chew but other items were nice. Service was good, courteous.
Tempura all fried very crispy and crunchy. Servers all friendly and helpful. All tables wiped immediately after customers left.
Overall pleasant dining experience.
Singapore is my second home and by chance few months back I discovered this great place. Food is delicious, staff friendly and if you love Japanese, it’s the right place to go. Weekend there’s a long queue, around 30 min wait I had to wait on three occasions but is worth. During the week there’s no queue and food is delivered quick to the table. Great service and very tasty food.
Love the ebi tempura here. The executive set has really good variety. Reasonable price and good environment. Service is responsive and all the staff is very polite. Will return again.
Such an amazing place which we tried for the first time. The tempura was delicious and soft shell crab was crispy and tasty. Service was excellent too. Keep it up.
