Ambient lighting highlights the wooden tables and leather-padded booth seats, while spotlights shine on wall art featuring seared meats and flaming torches, creating a lively yet inviting atmosphere. • We had the opportunity to try their brand new anniversary menu, rolled out in celebration of Bulgogi Syo’s 2nd year. • The star of the show? The exclusive Heol Flaming Combo at $75. It features Angus Beef Ribeye with Gochujang Butter, White Kimchi Jjigae, and a Truffle Potato Pancake—all new additions to the menu. • The ribeye is undoubtedly the highlight, with a dramatic tableside torching using a massive flame torch that adds flair and excitement. • The meat is finished with a decadent layer of gochujang butter and a flambé right before serving. • While the marbling on the ribeye is beautiful and it’s perfectly charred, I personally found the gochujang butter a tad heavy, as it soaked through the meat—but it’s still a flavorful, indulgent pairing. • The White Kimchi Jjigae was a first for me. Unlike the traditional red-hot version, this one's non-spicy and has a slightly tangy, sauerkraut-like note—great for those who can't handle heat. • As for the Truffle Potato Pancake, it was fragrant, crisped to perfection, and had just the right thickness for a satisfying crunch in every bite. • The set also comes with a choice of either Spicy Cheesy Chicken or Cheesy Gyeran Jjim, and to complete the experience, your pick of a Cocktail Tower or Mocktail Tower.

The exclusive menu Heol Flaming Combo is definitely a showstopper. Watching the Angus Beef Ribeye with Gochujang Butter get fire-blasted and flambéed right in front of you is such a thrilling experience, and the beef is incredibly juicy and tender. The Spicy Cheesy Chicken pairs perfectly with melted cheese, giving you that perfect balance of heat and indulgence. The new dishes, like the White Kimchi Jjigae and Truffle Potato Pancake, are also a must-try. The kimchi jjigae has just the right tang, and the potato pancake is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside with a truffle twist. Plus, the cocktail Tower is the perfect way to cool down the heat from the spicy dishes.

Hanging tender - beef: this was delicious, it was medium rare, right amount of fats. Paired very well with the garlic sauce. Will definitely come back to try the different beef cuts. Salmon sotbap: not my favorite. The soup tasted like tea, the salmon was not that big either. Used Eatigo discount, one of my favorite places to have steak now!

The sauce ion the grilled chicken is too salty. The pancake was not crispy and fluffy. The fried sushi is crispy but you could taste the oil.

The place is quite big so can take big groups. Food is not bad, banchan while not much selection the kimchi is spicy good. Ordered the bulgogi oyster blade beef and the spicy octopus which comes with a bowl of rice each (each main comes with rice). And each of us had the signature grape bom which is yummy not too sweet. Service is attentive.

The pork bone broth is generally not bad. Taste wise it’s ok, but the broth base was quite thin. My companions broth (the beef soups) was even thinner, would’ve been better if the broth was thick. You get a free spring tea if you leave a google review.

Unique tasting kimchi- instead of the usual sour spicy, their kimchi tasted more sweet-sesame-ish tasting with a hint of spice. The set was pretty good and portion quite enough for the price. Had the ginseng chicken and tasted fresh and nourishing.

Pretty decent place - beef rib soup was quite tasty, although I was left a bit thirsty after, maybe added msg/salt? The meat was a little too chewy The pancake was nubbad 4/5. But don’t like that they use google reviews to hike up the overall rating… honestly this place is a pretty solid 3.5/5. But rounding down due to the marketing engagement gimmick.

Awesome soup. The beef ribs were even more impressive, one of the best I have had. The king beef rib portion was massive, with an incredibly thick cut of about 2 inches. It was so huge that they provide tongs and scissors to consume it, accompanied with a tasty sauce on the side. Despite its thickness, the meat was perfectly done, tender to the core. I wondered if they used Sous vide to achieve such a perfect texture. The soup itself was well balanced: flavorful, rich and not overwhelming. Furthermore, the price was very reasonable. Onggii took over the former space of the popular Korean western, Mad for garlic, and retain a good part of the decorations, with the dark theme. That also means the layout remains spacious, with large tables for a comfortable meal, a contrast from many Korean eateries that tend to be more tightly packed. They operate 3 other brands (Koggii, Sotpot, sotbox) within Suntec, so if the queue gets too long over weekend, might be worth checking out their other concepts.

Came for dinner on Friday night, it was already quite long line during dinner time. We ordered Gamjatang (Pork Bone Soup) and Jangteo Gomtang. Both dishes were good and decent portions. Soup were flavourful, ingredients were fresh and no porky smell or gamey taste. Banchan were nice refillable. Epescially the fresh kimchi it was good and really fresh, but this one they only give once per table and not refillable. Price is reasonable, service was good and friendly. Atmosphere is okay.
