I had a great dining experience at Yongfu Restaurant. The food was fresh, authentic, and full of flavor — especially the seafood, which was perfectly cooked. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance was elegant yet comfortable. A wonderful place to enjoy refined Chinese cuisine. Highly recommend! One of the Best Chinese restaurants in Singapore. Worth to try !
I had the pleasure of dining at a local high-end Chinese restaurant for the first time. Well I was blown away by the ambiance and decoation as it was so so so exquisite and luxurious! Meanwhile, the waiters were so incredibly polite and their service were very very good! Thumbs up!!! 👍
Last but not least, I absolutely loved their stir-fried Ningbo sticky rice cake (It is dense, al dente rice cake that originated from Ningbo, China where it is still made by hand in some towns). It was incredibly delicious omg🤤! The rice cake was perfectly chewy and springy! As a rice cake lover, I strongly recommend it! 😍
Yung Fu Ningbo Cuisine
Suntec, an unlikely location for Chinese Fine Dining. Ningbo cuisine is uncommon in Singapore but it resembles Teochew cuisine with seafood. The difference is the use of spices.
The pre-dining appetizers set the stage for it being seafood focus, with shrimps used in various small appetizers.
We also ordered a cold dish of boiled big squid or mashed garlic and spicy oil. We found that the sauce lacked the ability to fully absorb the gravy. This dish was better at Lokhas Hotel in Xiamen.
The next 3 dishes were good.
Sautéed beef with chilli pepper which reminds of Hunan cuisine, and very good with plain white rice.
Spicy lychee crispy shrimp which was nicely fried with the shell intact. The slightly gooey lychee sauce has slight chilli which blends well with the prawn.
The last dish was the sautéed young Shanghai green with buttery like soup base, so it ended very well as the last mouthful.
Marks all the ticks for fine dining including the price ie high.

i don’t often write reviews but
- food way too salty; one the taro soup was more like a sauce
- the music in the background was nauseating as the restaurant played a 20 second tacky and loud music clip that was on continuous repeat; please for the sake of employees and customers, please change the music. Even baby shark kids music would be a massive improvement!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Really delicious Korean fried chicken! The food is amazing — crispy and flavorful fried chicken, and the cheese version is a must-try! The tteokbokki is also very tasty with just the right amount of spice and chewiness. Staff are friendly and the service is great. Highly recommend for anyone craving good Korean comfort food!
Tried the tuna kimbap, dakgangjeong (soy chili) and tteokbokki. Comforting Korean bunsik. Standout item is the dakgangjieong - generous portion with substantial chicken meat. Not greasy and is especially nice when paired with tteokbokki. There are seats available if you prefer to dine in for a quick meal.
Had a lovely lunch here last Saturday with my mum, it was both our first try. Aside from the picture (lemon mayo chicken, classic kimbap) - we ordered one more box to try the tuna kimbap and the sweet garlic chicken! You get to try the chicken flavours too, they have small samples.
The tteok was good also, it was chewy and soft at the same time. Would definitely come back again ^^ the staff was approachable and friendly too.
