We ordered the half green pepper fish and it was perfect for sharing between two people. The fish was incredibly fresh and tender, with a bold, spicy kick and that numbing sensation definitely one for spice lovers. If you have a low spice tolerance, consider yourself warned. We also tried the coconut fried chicken as a side dish, it had a light, crispy batter. The coconut flavor was subtle, it still made for a satisfying bite.
Service was lukewarm and the food felt average—definitely a step down from previous visit.
If you’re not a fan of fish with a soft, dory-like texture, you might not enjoy their choice of fish.
The only saving grace was the self-serve tea station, which helped offset the saltiness of the dishes.
LOVE THE FISH HERE!!!! i used to get their green chili fish, but realised that their prawn & crab roe one is much more unique & distinct!
green chili fish can be found at quite a few other competitors shops, but no where else has crab roe fish. it is very salty and crabby, the gravy is delicious & complements the tender fish very well.
i crave this taste a lot & highly recommend it! they used to have nice side dishes (stewed spicy beef) but i think they changed the menu so the selection is limited now :/
We tried the original ramen, and it did not disappoint. The broth was rich and flavorful, perfectly complementing the al dente ramen noodles. The ingredients were plentiful, adding to the hearty, satisfying experience.
The restaurant is clean and spacious, with a welcoming ambience. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth dining experience.
The only downside was the karaage. While they were expertly fried with a great crunch, they lacked seasoning, which left them tasting a bit bland.
Overall, it’s a solid spot for ramen and worth a visit. 7/10.
This was quite a nice ramen dinner experience we had last Saturday at this kid-friendly Halal restaurant. The staff were friendly and patient, even though they got very busy during the weekend peak hour. The ramen was quite decent and our boy quite enjoyed it. We got the set for two which was quite worth it. Thanks! 🙏🏻
Had a nice NYD’s eve dinner at the Suntec branch. We ordered the rice bowls which were well presented with lots of ingredients. Good tasting rice and delicious side dishes. Very fulfilling meal!
Went back for dinner recently; the salmon rice don was nice. Beef and salmon Fried rices were salty though. The mango and pineapple tea was refreshing.
Came during lunch time with colleagues. Food is good but service a bit slow. They also don’t go around refilling the green tea automatically. One order was forgotten as well.
Hokkai Butter Ramen, menu pic for illustration only.
Seaweed aroma is strong and lasting.
Ramen egg can make it.
Soup tasted strongly as chicken collagen.
Chunks of chicken breast (healthier choice 😅).
Price is reasonable.
We ordered a regular shoyu ramen, a kids meal and a Teriyaki Salmon Teppan Cha-Hab. We requested for less salt for the ramen and it was better, not so salty.
We also ordered some sides - gyoza and edamame. They are running an sg60 promo for the gyoza and kids meal at $6 each.
Food was served quickly and pretty ok for the price point. Served by Belinda - very friendly and helped us clear the empty plates and bowls so that we have more space.
