The couple in front keep their arm rest up during the show. There was sticky liquid flowing out and into my slippers, it appears to be thicken syrup. Made known to management but there is no follow up. Everyone, think twice before compromising hygiene.

I don’t want this to come off in a mean way i know we were probably at fault too. However, me and my friend wanted to watch a nc16 movie, Demon slayer. Im 16 and he is not, his birthday was in 3 months. I understand if we couldn’t watch it. However we weren’t told that we weren’t allowed to watch it together and they let us buy the tickets. When we were about to walk in, a employee stopped us and asked for our ICs, and of course we complied. He told my friend to go back to the counter because he was too young to watch it. We wanted a refund but they didn’t allow that and told us to switch movies. We switched movies and end up not even watching it because we were only there to watch Demon Slayer. We were so disappointed and fustrated because we weren’t informed at first, and the worker who sold us our tickets even checked our ICs. And in the end we were met with tickets to movies we did not even want to watch. Such a waste of money and time.

Counter staff doesn’t know that the movie I am watching is not entitled to card promotion discount (HSBC/DBS). When purchasing the tickets, he asked me to go to the kiosk for $3 discount so I did. However, at the kiosk, i couldn’t apply the card promotion and when clarified, was then told that this movie has no entitlement. Hence, the staff’s misinformation led to time wasted.
Next, we ordered chicken tenders and we were given a buzzer to collect it outside the hall when the there’s an activation. However, after 20 minutes (and the movie has already started), I had to come out of the movie hall to ask them about my order, after much more time wasted at checking, I was told that the food was prepared and left there… poor follow-up of the order and bad customer service. By the way, we came on a Sunday morning and there was no queue or crowd. The staff were just free and not even serving any customer. Such a slip of my order is unacceptable.
The final straw came after the movie has ended. I was very urgent and wanted to move out of the hall at the back entrance to the washroom only to be told by the staff (IRFAAN) that I have to exit from the front of the hall to the mall’s toilet one floor down. I requested for some flexibility to let me through as I was urgent and explained that my family spilt to watch different movie and that we will meet at the box office. He was rude and told me that unless I am handicap, then he would grant the exception. He even challenged me to talk to the management about this. It was really rude of him and why spend the money on a Sunday to watch a good movie only to end in a bad note. Don’t think you are the only movie company here. Pre and post Covid, your loyal customers supported you and look what happened to Cathy. If they don’t relook into their service staff’s attitude, then one day, they might have to close down too.

Visited the Suntec City golden village for a movie. The ticketing area is quite spacious with plenty queue for the box office and foods.
You will need to take the escalator up from the arcade area. Overall, the place is well air conditioned with a variety of movie options.

Kitty and I had a coupon for Golden Village, so we decided to use it this weekend to watch "The Successor." We read great reviews about Golden Village Suntec, particularly mentioning its spacious theater and comfortable seats, so we chose to spend our weekend movie night here.
The service was excellent, and the theater was indeed big and spacious, with really comfortable seats. The seats have armrests that can be lifted up to create a couple's seat, which is a nice touch. We were so comfortable that we didn't feel any discomfort even after sitting for two hours. The sound system was great, too, and the overall movie experience was fantastic.
We also loved "The Successor"! It was funny, and we had a great laugh. We really enjoyed the movie and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and entertaining movie experience.
We're definitely giving Golden Village Suntec a 5-star rating. It's a great cinema with comfortable seating, a great sound system, and excellent service. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great movie experience, especially if you're looking for a good laugh with "The Successor."

Watched Wicked here and had a good overall experience! The audio quality was excellent, really immersive, but I felt the visuals could use an upgrade—the screen seemed a bit dated and didn’t feel as vibrant as what you’d find in newer cinemas.
The chairs were on the smaller side but still comfortable enough for the duration of the movie. Loved the cool air conditioning, which was perfect after walking around sunny Singapore!
As a foreigner, I really appreciated the easy online ticketing system—it was smooth and hassle-free. A convenient and reliable option for catching a movie, but an update to the screen would definitely elevate the experience.

The cinema was clean and comfy, with seats that gave me enough space to actually relax. The screen and sound quality were both really good it made the movie feel more immersive. The staff were polite and helpful, and buying tickets was super easy, especially with the self service kiosks. Plus, it’s in a convenient spot with lots of food places around, so it’s perfect if you want to grab a bite before or after the movie. I’d definitely go back.
