Loved the food. Though the udon was slightly on the bland side. Service was great too.

You can get good hearty meals here. Unagi Don and Salmon belly Don were delicious. It comes with soup and side salad.

A great place to get affordable and yummy Kaisendon. The portion of fish to rice ratio is relatively generous and the staff are friendly. There are also value set promotions to choose from. Although it can’t beat the more lavish Japanese restaurants in Singapore, it is worth a visit if you’re craving for some affordable sashimi dishes.

Very cosy place to enjoy keisendon, salmon, sashimi, but when it is full house, the noise level is quite high... Miso soup abit too salty but that means very thick. Free salad and miso soup with order of main item. Miso soup has mushrooms and seaweed inside too. Prawns, scallops, salmon, all are not bad. Mentaiko is yummy too. A bowl looks small but filling.

I have a great fondness for chirashi dons and have eaten s lot of them in Singapore, in Japan and when we travel. Ones of the problems with Japanese don is the lack of green vegetables, so we were pleasantly surprised to see a kaisen don place that promised free soup and salad. As it turns out, it's the set menu. Same ala carte menu but instead of $22.90 for the large signature kaisendon, you pay $24.95 for the same don, miso soup, salad, green tea and a grilled prawn. My wife paid the same for an unagi kaisendon which is $21.90 ala carte. Still a good deal. The tea, soup and salad came out first. All pretty okay and the soup was nice and hot. The grilled prawns came later with quite a bit of mayonnaise and some fish roe on top. A bit too much mayo but the prawn was delicious. Perfectly grilled with a smoky taste complementing the sweetness of the prawn. My signature kaisendon was a big plate with lots of chopped sashimi. Pieces were nice and large enough to have a good taste of the fish. There was ginger and a small ball of wasabi on the side. Unfortunately a big chunk of seaweed on top which was a bit wet and didn't really add to the taste of the rice. Fish wasn't as fresh as other places but okay. I had a slice of my wife's unagi. There was only 3 pieces of unagi which looked quite sad in the bowl. Rest of them seafood probably similar to mine. Overall I can't give more than 3.5 stars to the dons, but upped it to 4 stars because of the prawn. But not good enough for me to want to return.

The staff who attended to me was smiley and friendly. The sashimi in the Chirashi bowl was fresh and the rice was not too sour. It satisfied my sashimi craving.

Really small and tight place to eat. Food is pretty decent. Think most of the stuff is either microwaved or boiled then sauce applied. Nothing seems grilled on the spot. But their sashimi is not bad. Quite decent value. The service from their staff is also really good. A little ex but decent enough place to have a quick mean.

The wait staff is very friendly and nice. Food is great, but we wish the tamago was heated up a bit. It was cold on cold for the hot bowl. Their mentaiko sauce is delicious. Seafood is fresh. Will definitely visit again.

Sashimi is fresh and don is good. The portion may look small but actually is quite filling. The restaurant is small. If you have a stroller or wheelchair it may be a bit inaccessible.
