First time shopping at calligaris for dining table and chairs. Great service and knowledge shared by Sam and Anthony. They can suggest some designs and colour to match the home design impeccably. 5 stars is an understatement in my opinion. Look for them would never go wrong. Updated progress as below: Sam stated that it will take 2 months to receive the goods. But it was delayed to 4 months plus. No calls or sms to update on the delay part. I even went down directly to the stall to check with the salesperson on duty at the 2nd mth after purchase. The salesperson still claimed that the shipment is at the sea; on the way to singapore. I continue to wait but still no call or sms. In the 3rd mth, I went to seek answer from the stall again. The salesperson on duty ask me to contact the delivery hotline. I managed to call through and the delivery hotline person is helpful to address my issue. ETA is not confirmed yet. Will notify me if there's any eta on the shipment date. By the way, the delivery person was surprised that the salesperson did not inform me about the shipment delay. Because of this delay, my planning for moving in was postponed. If Sam informed me earlier, I can adapt and make early changes to my planning. Another matter is that I told Sam and Anthony that I want rectangular table with semi circled shaped at both right and left sides. They understand what I want and are happy to help me with the the selection. Invoice was printed out and product code was double checked by Sam with me to ensure that its the right table design and shape. After receiving the table and chairs, I realised that the table shape is wrong. It is not the semi circled shaped at both right and left sides. Instead it is round corners rectangular table. I went to ask Sam and Anthony about this matter. They told me the product is ordered as per the invoice. Product code is the round corners rectangular table which is not the one I want. It dawned on me that Sam mislooked at the wrong product code in the catalog because he seems to have problems understanding the catalog. He looked at the product code below the diagram and thought that product code is the one referring to the diagram. In actual fact, its the product code in the diagram which refers to it. As a consumer, I even need the knowledge to understand company catalog which amazed me greatly.

Sharing here that we bought an extendable dining table from XZQT, Calligaris brand. Two years on, the adhesive holding the extendable table section came loose. I requested assistance from the repair team, and was quoted S$196 for the repair work, that consist only of applying glue. (no replacement of parts were needed, i could have done it myself on hindsight). Warranty was only for 1 year which expired. When i questioned on the pricing, i did not get a satisfactory answer; the sales department pushes it to the warehousing department who then responded that $196 consist of transportation, labour and materials cost. There is no transparency on the terms of repair for consumers. Hence please be aware of a hefty maintenance cost when buying items from XZQT. I have paid nonetheless. I am hoping to reach managements' attention on the matter, and seeking satisfactory response to justify the repair cost.
